The Galvin Opinion tracks the sinking Daily Kos readership
The Galvin Opinion has a couple of graphs showing sharp declines in readership of the #1 blog (liberal or otherwise) The Daily Kos. While I have not followed Daily Kos closely, I have heard it has been recently embroiled in some kind of controversy. Whatever the case, the numbers on these graphs show how quickly things can go south in the public arena.

Well, AICS, that's show business. One day you are on top, the next thing you know, you are on your way out. ;)
Kos is pretty anti-Hillary right now. Maybe if he sways enough away from her, it will seriously divide the party for 2008. Somehow though, I see her cozying up to him before the primary season and he pulls her back the leftist positions, she has departed in the years old tradition of triangulation.
But if Hillary shuts him out and pulls the voters more towards her, he may take his ball and go home. Maybe to the Green Party? Then the Dems will divide and lose again. That is, unless there is a worthy third party candidate.
There a re a lot variables in play here.

Great analysis LA. I love it when the Dems are between a rock and a hard place.

I live for the day when all the Whores in Washington are between that ROCK AND HARD PLACE...both Dem and Rep. There are a lot of people out here in America just like me that have had it and are waiting for a third or fourth party to rise up and challenge these lying and corrupt shills of vested Interest and the Corporations.
Dem or Rep. it's all the same and they are selling us all out. Their motto: DIVIDE AND CONQUER. Good thing we have the GREAT UNITER in the Whitehouse.

Joe,
Sometimes I don't respond to your comments. It is not that I am ignoring you. Sometimes when you say something in your own special way, there is nothing left to be said even if I disagree with you. That is not at all an insult, so I hope you don't take it that way. My point is that you are very unique and colorful and agree or disagree, I enjoy your input here.

To Joe Smoe. The unfortunate fact of life is that if you want your voice to have effect, you will need to be creative enough to work within the party you least detest. I agree with much of your sentiment, but not with your conclusion as to the best way for you to participate. The real challenge is to find a way to be heard now and not to wait for someone else to take the lead.
