I remember a time when you could at least turn to a qualified beautician to get away from mannishness and overt androgyny, but not anymore.
There are still your Paul Mitchells and your Max Factors... Lady Clairol still has standards. Still it's sad and I fear it may be a reflection of trends in our country's character.
