Oh the possibilities
Reuters (oh that is rich) is reporting that a German scientist is working on an anti-stupidity pill that is having good results in mice. While the pill may not have the exact name, I thought it would be fun thinking of all the possibilities we could use this anti-stupidity pill the further mankind. While I am sure we all could use a boost to better ourselves, when an initial batch comes off the assembly line where could it be used for the most good?
We could send a batch over to the UN so they could become anti-stupid instead of anti-US and anti-Israel. Perhaps it would allow the UN to realize that it is better to fight terrorism than appease it.
We mix up a batch of "rainbow stew" and serve it to the radical peace marchers. These are the ones who would be marching against the US fighting an invading army on our soil. The ones who on talk radio who can't even admit WWII was a moral war.
If polls are correct about 1/3 of the US population could use a good dose so they can realize it was Islamic terrorists and not the US government that brought down the Twin towers on 9/11. Actually, if they just laid off the drugs for awhile the pill might not be needed.
If we sent some to CNN and MSNBC, Fox News might actually have some competition. They would realize that their attempts at hiding their liberal bias are not fooling anybody. Better yet if the dose is strong enough they would not have a liberal bias.
OK, there is my list. What can anybody add without getting personal at another LL reader?

(pretending I didn't see RWA's comment, so I don't get personal)
France could use some. Do you suppose the pills have an anti-appeasement side effect?
The Palestinians could use some for believing that if they voted in Hamas, their lives would be better.
Olmert could use a good dose for having believed he could wage a mini-war against Hezbollah.
And anyone who thinks a cease-fire in the Hezbollah-Israel conflict will solve anything needs megadoses. That would double France's dosage, but really that wouldn't be a bad thing.
Great post.

Please send a dose to Right Wing Agenda and Joe Smoe before they embarrass themselves again.

Right Wing Agenda,
What about all the inbred mutants from red states that voted for Kerry (or Gore in 2000)? You know, results in some of those states were pretty close in both elections. Are those voters all stupid, too, just because they come from the South or Midwest? I bring up this point to show the complete irrationality of your statements, but I know you won't see it.

Sorry, I got sidetracked. In response to the original post, I think quite a few public school teachers, who are responsible for the next generation's education, could use a good dose when it becomes available. You know, the ones who no longer teach about the character of the founding fathers, but spend their time comparing Bush to Hitler. (By the way, how many people has Bush ordered rounded up into camps, stripped naked and paraded around in humiliating fashion, and gassed to death? Answer: 0 so far, 6,000,000 to go)
And how about the sex-ed teachers who believe that teaching abstinance to teenagers is close to child abuse, but teaching fisting, and golden showers, and sodomy to pre-teens is an absolute must?

I think RWA's Kool-Aid has a little extra in it.

AICS,
As always, good job sir.
Oh to see the day when this could be a reality. But like good old Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid!!"

FKAB,
Kool-Aid:
1. The drink most of us (at least us non-young-uns) grew up with, in the days before sugar was considered bad for you. Now Kool-Aid is seen as a toxic substance.
2. As in the Jim Jones Affair. People drank it, knowing it was poisoned.
3. Only plausible explanation (see #2) for how the extreme left and extreme right kooks and sufferers of Bush Derangement Syndrome can keep swallowing the bizarre conspiracy theories they accept as true.
Must be an American thing...

Skyepups,
LOL, thanks. I looked up Kool-Aid on Wikipedia and added a little bit about Bill O'Reilly's constant references to the sugar-laced beverage. I'm looking forward to trying some of the stuff...

Looks like some of the people in Conn. got a hold of some of these pills and threw out that walking sleeping Pill and Bush Lap dog Lieberman.
Now, America must rid itself of ALL those that enabled Bush to send our country to war on BS and Lies. Any and all involved with this FAILURE in Iraq must be held accountable...DEM AND GOP.

Joe,
Another instance of showing yourself a drinker of the liberal Kool-Aid concoction. If you think Lieberman is Bush's lap dog, you are simply following the liberal propaganda that has been spewed about him. Lieberman is an old school hard-line liberal, but agrees with the President on one issue - the one issue that is death to agree with him on, especially as a politician from the Northeast - the war in Iraq. If this makes him a Bush lap dog, then Ann Coulter must be a Clinton lap dog, since they both agree that there is a God.

FKAB,
When you try Kool-Aid (the beverage mix), avoid Black Cherry flavor. If you spill it on counters or anything, it won't come out. All other flavors are cleanup-friendly.
Also, you can use it to make popsicles. My mom always doubled the sugar for popsicles, but I'm not sure that's necessary anymore. I make my popsicles with pineapple juice these days, so I'm out of practice with the Kool-Aid.
Enjoy your drinking adventure...

Joe,
We'll see in November what happens there. While Lamont could win, Lieberman will run as a strong independent. He will either win or split the vote enough for the GOP to pick up a seat.
R2W is right. Lieberman is a hardliner, voting 90% party-line.

Thanks Skyepuppy, Malott and LA for the compliments. I needed a lighter side post today as I had a hard day yesterday. You and my other friends delivered as I hoped you would.

So I drink the so called "KOOL AID" since I see the reality for what it is ie that IRAQ is a Failure, THe ROAD MAP FOR PEACE is a FAILURE, and Bush's attempt at democratizing the the mid east is a FAILURE???
If this is not the case and please explain and give examples based on FACTS that they are successes to the contrary or it will be apparent who drinks that sugary LIE based S***...right??? Only the facts please.

Yes, this maybe the case as he's just another self serving rich political bastard that can't face the reality of it all and would rather drag the whole thing down...kinda like his "KISSING COUSIN" Bush and his aversion to the reality that the Mid East is a shambles and all that he claimed was truth and a fact is now shown to be a lie OR DEAD WRONG!

Joe,
Pay attention. My kool-aid comment directed at you had nothing to do with the things you bring up in your most recent comment. It had to do with your claim that Lieberman is a Bush lap dog - a claim that has been made recently by many on the far left who are not happy with his pro-war stance.
